Believe it or not, a lot of people have trouble with sweating. Not only can it be incredibly embarrassing, it can also ruin your favorite clothes, like those nice white t-shirts that seem to get stains around the underarms after just a few days of wearing them. If you are tired of dealing with your sweat and want to finally do something about it, there are a few little tricks that you can use to help you learn how to stop sweat.

The clothing you wear plays a huge part in how much you sweat. Too often people wear warm clothes on a warm day and find that they are sweating profusely. The easiest way to avoid doing this is to make sure that you don’t overdress for the day. When it is hot out, don’t wear extra clothes like jackets or vests. If you know you are going to be out in the sun all day, try wearing lighter colors because they reflect the sun, keeping you a little cooler. Even in the winter you should try to wear less clothing under a heavy coat if you will be spending most of your time in the heated indoors. This is a large part in how to stop sweat.

Along with the clothes you wear, not wearing socks is a huge part of not sweating as much. It might seem like it’s just your feet that are getting warm, but it actually affects the temperature of your whole body. You know what it feels like to be really cold just because your feet are cold, and heat works the same way. Try wearing sandals or flip flops to cool your body off and to limit your feet perspiration.

Deodorant should be used daily if you have trouble with sweating. It can’t stop all of it, but it will help to keep your shirts dry and make you feel a little less worried about your sweating problem. There are many different kinds of deodorant and some will work better with your body type than others. If you have tried one and it didn’t work very well, try a different one. Eventually, one of them will be the right one for how to stop sweat from forming under your arms.

When the sweat is really getting to you, take the time to try to force your body to cool off. You can do this a number of different ways, but water is always the key. Your body sweats because it is too hot, and drinking cold water can actually help to keep it cool. It will also have you going to the bathroom more so your body is excreting waste in a manner other than sweating. If you can’t carry water with you, try washing your face or splashing cold water on yourself from a sink. This will also help to lower your temperature. The most important thing you can do is remember that the best way to stop sweat is to not panic. If you worry about sweating, you’ll keep sweating more.
